1969 R-Code Mach 1, 428 SUPER COBRA JET, 430 Drag Pack, Pastel gray, awesome and rare color. restored nicely. According to Marti, in 1969 there were ONLY 1,026 FASTBACK MUSTANGS built with the "W" code 430 drag pack. We also know according to Marti, that the Pastel Gray is one of THE rarest of all the R-codes built that year, totally only 166 CARS! So, this color combined with the 430 Drag Pack makes this an INCREDIBLY RARE FIND. This particular car was ordered with ONLY 4 total options; C6 Auto, SCJ Drag Pack, Tachometer, and F70x14 traction tires. ALSO NOTE: THIS IS A RADIO DELETE CAR!!! THESE CARE INCREDIBLY RARE CARS!!! So this car was obviously ordered specifically for racing. NO radio, power brakes, steering, a/c or anything that would weigh down the car. A really cool car for sure! We just installed a new date code correct 428SCJ engine and new rebuilt correct automatic transmission. Complete and correct 4.30 Rear-end was rebuilt to factory orginal specs also.
