According to Marti, in 1969 there were ONLY 1,026 FASTBACK MUSTANGS built with the "W" code 430 drag pack. We also know according to Marti, that the Pastel Gray is one of THE rarest of all the R-codes built that year, totalling only 166 CARS! So, this color combined with the 430 Drag Pack makes this an INCREDIBLY RARE FIND. This particular car was ordered with ONLY 4 total options; C6 Auto, SCJ Drag Pack, Tachometer, and F70x14 traction tires. ALSO NOTE: THIS IS A RADIO DELETE CAR!!! THIS CAR IS AN INCREDIBLY RARE 1 OF 1 CAR!!! Fully documented with the Elite framed Marti report. So this car was obviously ordered specifically for racing. NO radio, power brakes, steering, a/c or anything that would weigh down the car. A really cool car for sure! This car shows just over 49k miles on the odometer and the title states its ACTUAL miles. ( we have no reason to doubt it ) We just installed a new date code correct 428SCJ engine (all correct Super Cobra Jet internals,balancer, counter weight and oil cooler) and new rebuilt correct Cobra Jet automatic transmission. (R-servo and cast iron tail and correct internals) Complete and correct fresh 4.30 trac-lok Rear-end was rebuilt to factory orginal specs also. We also changed the tires to the correct concourse Good Year polyglass reproductions. (Including spare) Correct and complete concourse correct smog system, Autolite battery, wires and hoses also. This car has been road tested, aligned and checked to insure everything is better then new! The interior is also all new and beautifull.
